SHAPING BEHAVIOUR – Toddlers, tears & tantrums

Children’s behaviour can be challenging – from throwing tantrums, refusing to follow instructions and non-stop whinging. Whilst it’s very normal, there’s lots that parents can do to prevent and minimise the behaviour and teach children more effective ways of coping.

Presented by Psychologist and mother of three, Giuliett Moran, the workshop aims to educate parents about how to shape positive behaviour and manage poor behaviour when it arises.

Topics on the day will include:

  • At what age should discipline start
  • Understanding how children learn and how behaviour evolves
  • What are tantrums and how to manage them
  • Factors that maintains poor behaviour

Everyone worries, so how do we support our children to overcome fears and work through their worries and anxious thoughts in a way that prepares them with the skills that they need for the future. In a way that encourages them to communicate their concerns, rationalise their worries and fears and work through them rather than avoid them.

Presented by Psychologist and mother of three, Giuliett Moran, the workshop aims to educate parents about how to help their children to overcome worries, fears & anxious thoughts.

Raising Resilient Children
